DBS Legacy Payroll

DBS Legacy Payroll (DBS LPR) is a feature rich payroll application that breaks the payroll barrier by offering HR type features that most companies can only obtain by purchasing a second application. It was designed for use in most Caribbean countries but can be easily configured for use in other countries.

DBS LPR currently calculates the pay of employees in Antigua, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Suriname, Trinidad& Tobago and the  US Virgin Islands.I

DBS Legacy Payroll uses the latest client-server technology and operates quickly and flawlessly over both local and wide area networks. It is easy to learn and use and reduces your payroll processing time. Several companies have switched to DBS Legacy Payroll to take advantage of the benefits it offers.

  • DBS LPR emails pay slips to employees as PDF attachments. This feature is used extensively by our customers with operations in several countries, that have used DBS LPR to centralize their payroll.
  • DBS LPR also includes document management to permit the storage and management of employee related documents in electronic form. You can store documents in any format, including Microsoft Word, Excel, scanned images in most formats, audio and video files and many more.
  • Managing company assets in employees' possession is a breeze  with the asset management feature that allows you to issue and process the return of assets.  
  • DBS LPR includes leave tracking and vacation accrual removing the need for you to purchase a separate HR application to do these or to spend countless hours doing them manually.
  • Tracks and reports company's assets assigned to employees. You immediate know what employees have to return when they are leaving the company.
  • Maintains contact information for employees' next of kin.
  • Generates the ACH files for several banks and permits the distribution of employees’ net pay to an unlimited number of banks.
  • Calculates and tracks employee and employer benefits contributions.
  • Calculates taxes on non-cash benefits.
  • Pay bonuses with the regular payroll or run a separate bonus payrolls.
  • Pay selected employees prior to the regular payroll run.
  • Calculates service charge for hospitality workers.

  • Split employees' pay between branches and departments.
  • Imports time card data from most time clock systems.

  • Enter employee’s pay as an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annual or piece rate.
  • Pay by cash, cheque, bank lodgment or electronic transfer using ACH files.
  • Remit net pay or any deduction to third party institutions.
  • Calculates vacation pay.
  • Unlimited number of user defined earnings and deduction headings.
  • Unlimited number of user defined third party institutions.
  • Produces a large number of detailed reports.
  • Permits the printing of reports for any previous payroll. All reports can be previewed on the screen and saved to disk in PDF format.
  • Interfaces with DBS Legacy Accounting, Acc Pac and Adagio general ledgers
